Project Blissful
For most of my life, I struggled with being incredibly insecure about myself, my body, my intelligence–nearly everything that I was just didn’t seem to be enough. It was a constantly repeated theme in my life: I was just NOT GOOD ENOUGH. And then, two years ago, after spending most of my adult life feeling that way, I found myself at a turning point. A lifetime of stress, sadness, self-hate and generally accepting the idea that I needed to measure up to someone else’s idea of perfection had left me overweight and tired. So, I started Weight Watchers and halfway tried to exercise. Today, I’ve lost 80 pounds.
